Transfiguration Church (Preobrazhenskaya)

In the village Krasnoye there stands the unique Transfiguration Church (Preobrazhenskaya) which is the author's copy of the famous Chesme Church in St. Petersburg. This unusual for tthe Russian province temple in pseudo-Gothhic style with white-stone ornamentation was builtnin the manor of the Poltoratskys under the project of the outstanding Russian architect Yu. M. Felten.
