The Museum and Literary Center of A. A. Akhmatova and N. S. Gumilev "The House of Poets"

At 12 km from Bezhetsk in the village of Gradnitsy in the village library the Museum and Literary Center of A. A. Akhmatova and N. S. Gumilev "The House of Poets" operates for many years. It is located in an old manor house transported from the abandoned manor of Slepnevo in 1935. This is the very house where in the summer months of 1911-1917 Anna Akhmatova came to visit the family of her husband, poet Nikolai Gumilev. Annually on June 23, on the birthday of Anna Akhmatova, there are poetic holidays on the glade in front of the house.
